Refund Policy.
Defining the protocols for financial reconciliation and service termination with technical precision.
Effective Date: May 17, 2026
1. Cancellation Protocol
Clients may request project termination at any stage of the development lifecycle. Termination must be initiated via a formal written notice sent to ceo@webnovatech.co.in. Upon receipt, all active development threads will be suspended within 24 hours.
2. Refund Eligibility & Logic
Our refund logic is governed by milestone completion and resource allocation:
- Completed Milestones: Payments made for milestones that have been technically finalized and delivered are non-refundable.
- Active Milestones: If termination occurs during an active milestone, the client will be billed for the percentage of work completed. Any excess funds held will be eligible for reconciliation.
- Retainer Services: Monthly maintenance and support retainers are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced.
- Strategic Consultations: Fees for specialized architectural consulting or security audits are non-refundable once the consultation session has concluded.
3. Digital Asset & License Revocation
In the event of a full refund or unresolved financial dispute, all intellectual property (IP) rights, including code access, UI designs, and staging environment credentials, will be immediately revoked. Webnova reserves the right to decommission any active staging servers associated with the project.
4. Technical Resource Allocation
Refunds do not cover third-party costs incurred on behalf of the client, including but not limited to: cloud infrastructure fees (AWS/GCP), premium API licenses, domain registrations, or specialized third-party software modules.
5. Reconciliation Timeline
Approved refunds are processed through the original payment gateway (e.g., Razorpay) within 10-15 business days. The actual time for funds to reflect in the client's account depends on the financial institution's processing velocity.
6. Transaction Disputes
We encourage direct reconciliation through our leadership team. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without prior consultation will result in an immediate suspension of all services across the client's entire portfolio with Webnova.
7. Force Majeure Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued for service disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as global network outages, upstream provider failures, or changes in government technical regulations.
